We attended Achieve in Bathnes‘ first Youth Guarantee Roadshow in January!
Run at Welton Rovers Football Club in Midsomer Norton, it was organised by B&NES Council in order to highlight work experience opportunities to young people who are currently not in work or education.
We had a great time talking to young people about the work experience opportunities we are offering at Share and Repair. We had an interactive DIY challenge, where we timed the participants to see how long it took them to dismantle everything on the board, and the fastest person won a shopping voucher.
Our CEO Ruth said “It was a great day and we enjoyed meeting all the young people, got to be interviewed on Somer Valley Radio and were pleased to meet people from Curo, Bath College, Bath Spa University, Little Lost Robot, Rockaway Park and Zen Rebel, amongst others!”
