Meet our
Staff
Hi, I’m Ruth the CEO at Share and Repair. I’m very proud to be working with such a wonderful team of staff and such exceptional volunteers, across all our projects we couldn’t achieve what we do without them. I love being part of an organisation that works so practically to change attitudes to repair and reuse and which encourages sharing and community spirit across the area.

Hi, I am the Head of Sharing Operations. I look after our fantastic volunteers and customers on a daily basis in our shop and there is never a dull moment! I ensure the Library of Things is running smoothly. Through our work at Share and Repair I am committed to changing behaviour and reducing landfill.
When not at work I love to be outdoors, walking, paddle boarding and playing netball and football.
Contact me with any queries about the Library of Things on libraryofthings@shareandrepair.org.uk.
Hi, I’m Julian – Head of Repair Operations at Share and Repair.
I’m the newest member of the team, and I’m really looking forward to meeting as many of our fantastic volunteers as possible, as well as visiting all of our amazing Repair Cafés.
I’m passionate about reuse, recycling, and sustainable transport, and I’m thrilled to be part of this inspiring charity.
If you have any questions about repairs or our Repair Cafés, feel free to get in touch at repairs@shareandrepair.org.uk.
Hi, I’m Jessie, the Volunteer Coordinator for Share and Repair. Volunteers are the life blood of everything that happens at Share and Repair. I love that the shop is a hive of activity on any given day, bustling with highly skilled volunteers from all walks of life!
Email me if you’d like to get in touch about volunteering on volunteering@shareandrepair.org.uk.
Hi I’m Caroline and I keep the books for Share and Repair, making sure everything is in order, and chasing that last missing receipt!
I also run my local community hall and manage my two children. I am obsessed with recycling and rescuing things from the tip so working with the Share and Repair team is perfect for me!
Hello, I’m Sarah, I run all the social media and look after the website for Share and Repair. I love travelling to beautiful European cities and learning languages! I really enjoy working freelance for Share and Repair because it’s a wonderful team of people with something different happening every week.
If you want to get in touch with a story about a repair or an event you attended, please email me at socialmedia@shareandrepair.org.uk
Hi, I’m Andi, I coordinate and help run educational workshops in the local Bath and North East Somerset schools, where we help children explore the ideas of borrowing, repairing, and reducing waste in fun, hands-on ways.
Our workshops are split into two parts: sharing and repairing! In the sharing half, students learn about the linear vs circular economy and dive into our Library of Things, planning a party on a £12 borrowing budget. Then, in the repairing half, they get stuck into fixing torches and testing batteries and bulbs, and unblocking our trusty Henry Hoover. They learn how to care for these everyday items, and of course, then get to ‘break’ them again for the next group! It’s a brilliant way to get kids thinking practically about sustainability, and they always seem to love it!
We’re always welcoming volunteers who would like to help out or even run parts of these sessions, just give us a shout by emailing me at Andi@shareandrepair.org.uk!
Hello, I’m Si and I coordinate the repair process at the shop. I started as a volunteer repairer before taking on the freelance repair coordinator role. My job is to support our repairers and customers to make the repair experience as smooth as I can – like a well oiled sewing machine. One of the joys of my work is seeing the smiles that successful repairs put on the faces of both our customers and our repairers.
Email me to get in touch about a repair on repairs@shareandrepair.org.uk.

At Share and Repair we do our best to support our small team of staff as much as we can. We are delighted be supporters of the West of England Good Employment Charter and to be acknowledged as an organisation that is working to continuously improve the employment opportunities we offer our team.
Head here to find out more and if you would like to get in touch about joining or supporting our team, please email us at hello@shareandrepair.org.uk.
Meet our
Trustees
I volunteer because I am passionate about making a tangible difference in my community. Initially, I contributed as a repairer before becoming a founding trustee and then chair in 2025.
This role enables me to collaborate with like-minded individuals and contribute to initiatives that promote environmental sustainability and community well-being. Volunteering in this capacity not only allows me to give back to my local area but also provides personal fulfilment through active participation in causes that matter deeply to me.
I bring 20+ years of experience in and around the voluntary sector, including as social enterprise founder, evaluator and corporate philanthropy manager.
I am currently doing a PhD about volunteering and act as our Board Secretary.
Bath and the surrounding area is such a special place and has been my home three times in my life. I believe that it is incumbent upon us as a community to do all we can to make the area flourish. What better way than through Share and Repair.
The ambition of this charity first got me hooked back in 2023 advising on strategy and marketing and I have helped fundraising by running the Bath Half marathon. Having recently gone part-time at work, I decided now was the time to get more involved and become a Trustee. I have worked in marketing for 40 years and worked with the largest advertising groups in the world, I hope I can bring a wealth of experience in helping shape and grow Share and Repair to play a dominant role in our lives and the circular economy here in our region.
I volunteer for Share and Repair as I believe in the local and community-focussed approach to environmental issues as a very positive form of direct action. I especially enjoy the enthusiasm of our staff and volunteers who are all so passionate and have fabulous skills, ideas and experience to share.
I have spent most of my career working in rail transport in Britain, Europe and North America and am currently working part-time as an independent consultant. I have been living in Widcombe, Bath for the past 20 years.
I became a trustee in 2024, having previously joined the Share and Repair team as a volunteer cafe lead, setting up the Bear Flat cafe the year before. In my trustee role I work closely with Hila supporting our Repair Cafe work.
In my day job I am a sustainability consultant, specialising in behaviour change around waste and recycling. We do lots of work with community groups and are always looking for opportunities to encourage reuse, repair and waste reduction, so the work of Share and Repair is very close to my heart.
I’ve been volunteering in the Share & Repair shop since 2023, and enjoyed it so much that I ended up becoming a trustee!
I have been volunteering with charities for the past 20 years, including at Cruse Bereavement as Treasurer, and at Citizens Advice as an advisor for 14 years and then as a Trustee.
