Grandpa Dave and his Grandson Oliver were on a mission – to bring Wendy’s 50 year old radio back to life! Wendy made the trip all the way from Bristol to Saltford Repair Café after a friend recommended Dave, the ‘old radio saviour.’
Her radio had been silent for a while, and whilst it looked promising at the Repair Cafe when they started to hear some voices, it unfortunately couldn’t be fixed on the same day.
Dave offered to take the radio home and keep trying to repair it, and worked his magic in his workshop to give this beloved radio a new life! Wendy picked it up from Saltford Repair Café and gifted a heartfelt thank-you card.
Moments like these remind us why we do what we do!
