We haven’t been idle this lockdown, we’ve been busy planning a fantastic new project to help expand share and repair in the community.
This is an exciting new project to provide essential home electricals to people in low-income households. Its aim is to revive and rehome pre-loved electrical goods for the benefit of those in need.
Through homeKIT, Share and Repair will take your donations of kettles, irons and toasters. If necessary, our wonderfully skilled volunteers will then repair and recondition your donations before PAT testing each item to ensure it’s safe for its new home.
Items are then handed over to our local partner charities to distribute to those in need.
How can you help?
We need YOUR donations of good-quality kettles, irons and toasters now.
Items should be clean before donating and, if not in working order, they must be a repairable condition with no major cracks or visible defects.
Where can you donate?
Please drop off donations at the Share and Repair Shop, 8 Broad Street, Bath BA1 5LJ.
Wed 10am – 12pm
Sat 10am – 12pm
If you live in Bath, you can request items to be collected by our electric cargo bike.
We can only collect from within the city limits. There is a £2 charge per journey for collection.
