Three years ago today we moved into our shop on George Street, just around the corner from our previous location – which is now a plant and record shop on Broad Street!
Since starting out running Repair Cafes in 2017, we opened a little Library of Things in Weston Hub and then moved into our first proper shop on Broad Street in 2020.
When a cafe closed on George Street and the space became available to rent, it was the perfect spot for our growing charity.
We now have lots of extra space for our Library of Things, and our upstairs floor gives us a private space for events and repairs, away from some of the hustle and bustle of our shop.
A lot of things have changed! The macaroon wallpaper has gone, and we have recently had a new shop sign hand-painted by Tozer Signs!
