How To Descale A Kettle

Is your kettle not working as well as it used to? It might be full of limescale!

Bath is an area with very hard water, so at Share and Repair we have seen some kettles for repairing that simply needed descaling.

To descale your kettle put 2 or 3 teaspoons of citric acid in the kettle, turn it on without letting it boil and leave it overnight. In the morning it will simply need rinsing!
