Alongside the usual Larkhall Repair Cafe, the Community Energy Network are bringing their Home Energy Cafe to Larkhall Repair Cafe at New Oriel Hall on Saturday 22nd November.
Interested in improving the energy efficiency of your home but don’t know where to start?
Whether you are looking for low and no-cost solutions, or want to make some big improvements, pop along to our friendly energy cafe to explore what your options are. Run by Energy Champions who’ve made changes in their own homes and can signpost you to support, the Energy Cafe is a chance to talk about what you can do over a cup of coffee with someone impartial.
The team can help provide advice including:
- Home Energy improvements large and small
- Saving money on your energy bills
- Accessing grants and funding
- Low and No cost actions you can take to make your home warmer, cheaper to heat and more environmentally friendly
The Community Energy Network will be there to provide unbiased information, signpost and refer to official and trusted support, share personal experiences of making improvements to homes and help you to make sense of all the different options and navigate the world of retrofit.
This Home Energy Cafe aims to give you the support you need and are entitled to, encourage you to make changes to your home to improve efficiency, reduce confusion around retrofit options, and help increase take-up of grants and funding options.
If you are a Homeowner or Renter with a cold or inefficient home, high bills, desire to reduce climate impact, interest in making improvements to your home, in or at risk of Fuel Poverty, in poor quality housing, or in draughty, mouldy or damp homes, come and speak to the team who will give you support and information, and signpost you in the right direction for advice.
There will be refreshments!
Please note that this is not expert advice as the Community Energy Network Advisors will not be at the Home Energy Cafe.
This event is part of the Community Energy Network and hosted by Larkhall Repair Cafe.
