Come to a Repair Cafe this weekend!
It’s the Easter weekend so not all of our Repair Cafes will be running this Saturday, but please come and say hi, get some coffee and cake and get your repairs done at Larkhall or Bear Flat.
Bear Flat Repair Cafe is running a special Easter weekend event with cake, games and prizes and even an Easter egg hunt. If you’re looking for something special to do with your family this weekend, don’t miss out!
At our last Repair Cafe in Larkhall, Milly was on hand taking photos and overseeing the repairs and coffee table.
“Spring was in the air at the Larkhall Repair Café on Saturday! A pair of fun yellow dungarees were brought in for new buttons with Jackie, whilst Dale worked on a nest of tables in need of stabilising with new glue and screws.
David restored the tick-tock to a cherished clock whilst one happy bearded cafe customer was pleased to have his electric razor back in working order, and a lady with an angle poise lamp was given tips by Tim.
Also did you know that whilst waiting for your repairs, you can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, and home-baked cakes, do you prefer blondies or brownies?”
This Saturday we’re running Repair Cafes at:
New Oriel Hall, Larkhall, BA1 6RA, from 10 – 1pm
Bear Flat Community Hall, Bruton Avenue, BA2 4QJ, from 9.30 – 12.30pm
Please arrive as early as possible to ensure that there is time to work on your repair, we have limited capacity and our volunteers will do their best to help – sometimes we get really busy and we don’t want to have to turn you away! For more info click here.
