The Donate IT van will be coming to Southdown Repair Cafe in June!
Donate IT are an organisation that collect unwanted old tech, refurbish it, and give it to locals who need it most.
Some of these donations have gone on to give people access to jobs, are used in schools to give equal access to learning, and given to families in need. Through their work, Donate IT have diverted more than 11,500 items from landfill – isn’t that incredible?
So, why not do a good deed with the tech that is sitting in a drawer and donate it?
📅 Saturday 7th June, 10am – 1pm
📍 Southdown Methodist Church Centre, Bath
If you’ve got old Apple devices, make sure to remove your Apple account before donating, and if you’re worried about your data you can delete it beforehand although Donate IT will fully wipe your donated items. And, even if it’s too old or not working it will get recycled.
