This year we have repaired nearly 2200 repairs across all our Repair Cafes, with a 75% success rate -that’s a lot of items saved from landfill!
Although our Repair Cafes are run by our brilliant volunteers, we would not be able to continue running our Cafes, repairing and saving items from landfill without donations to cover the financial side of things. Each Repair Cafe costs about £2000 each year to operate, and with 10 Repair Cafes and a shop in the centre of town, it’s quite a hefty bill.
That’s why we’re thrilled to be part of 3SG‘s Give Locally Festive Giving Directory this year, with our new Christmas Fundraising Appeal to Gift A Repair!
