Thank you so much to Coombe Castle International for picking us to be the recipient of support from their Eco-Warrior Group, and donating a new PAT tester to us!
Last month the team at Coombe Castle International came to visit us in the shop, they’re a local business exporting dairy products from the UK and Ireland all over the world – their cheese ends up on plates in Singapore, Australia and the USA! Their Eco-Warrior Group kindly decided to buy us a new PAT tester and here you can see Darren, Chloe and Dee-Ann visiting the shop to donate it to us in person.
We are so grateful for their support as we use PAT testers for so many things that we do at Share and Repair. We PAT test anything electrical our repairers fix to ensure the repaired items people take home are safe, and regularly PAT test items in our Library of Things, items for HomeKIT and as part of our partnership with the Reuse Shop in Keynsham. So this really is an essential piece of kit that will get lots of use, and help us speed up the services we offer.
